My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy is about more than talking through what's difficult. It's also an opportunity to understand ourselves more deeply, recognize patterns we've developed through our experiences, and explore new ways of relating to ourselves and the world around us.
My approach is holistic, individualized, and trauma-informed. I believe our emotional well-being is connected to our past experiences, relationships, and the ways we've learned to navigate life. Rather than focusing only on what's bringing you to therapy, I want to understand the bigger picture of what you've been through and how it continues to shape your experience today.
Our work may involve reflection and conversation, as well as practical tools and experiential approaches that help you connect with your emotions, understand your responses, and develop new ways of moving through difficult moments. We'll work together at a pace that feels right for you, with space for both deeper understanding and meaningful change.
My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you feel supported in understanding yourself, reconnecting with what matters to you, and moving toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are.
Healing looks different for everyone. We can start wherever you are and take it one step at a time.
